IMBA Ride Centers
The Ride Center™ designation recognizes the pinnacle of mountain biking communities. Riders will love the extensive variety of high-quality rides, plus plenty of fun beyond the trails.
Where it's great to be a mountain biker
Ride Centers™ are designated following an application and professional assessment. Designations are as much about the process as the award, by helping community partners use the assessment as a guide and educational experience for becoming great places to ride mountain bikes.
Ride Centers™ feature extensive trail networks, masterfully designed for mountain bikers of every skill level and built by professional trailbuilders and local volunteers. Bring your full arsenal of bikes to these destination-worthy areas. From backcountry adventures to shuttle-served gravity trails, and from expert-only to family-friendly, you’ll encounter the best the sport has to offer. Ride Centers™ range from renowned gold-level destinations like Park City, UT, and Oakridge, OR, to smaller towns that totally revolve around the ride like McCall, ID, or Marquette, MI.

Meet the team

Mountain biking is my sanity. Since that first day on a bike that I still remember, being on two wheels has always brought me deep joy. There is a certain peace that comes over me while I am on my bike. I think it is not only the riding, but also just being outdoors. For me this is everything. The best part of it is that I get to work toward helping more people get on bikes. I think everyone should have a chance to feel this way!
